Objective: Whirlpool Corp is an American multinational manufacturer and marketer of home appliances. My team at Aisle Rocket got to bring their various product launches to life through P-O-P assets, digital activations, product photography, and feature videos.


MAYTAG® PET PRO SYSTEM

Maytag launched an exciting new innovation for pet owners in 2022 - the Pet Pro System! Our team brought many new ideas to the table for this launch, one of them being the use of the Maytag Man in P-O-P. Adhering to the guidelines of his use as a machine vs. as a spokesman, we placed him in the display backer counterpart to the appliances before him in-store. This move opened up creative opportunities when it came to utilizing his likeness in the future. For the assets themselves we crafted modern designs to catch the eye of the consumer in lieu of the plain traditional blue boxes used in the past. Directive arrows and bold copy guided viewers towards interactive features on the machines.

Across Maytag.com we added a subtle yet fun custom piece to the navigation for the launch; an adorable PETS cast member walking out from behind the Maytag logo and begging to be clicked. This piece in particular got a lot of engagement from shoppers online. For the teaser page we were tasked with the challenge of amping up our new pets innovation without alluding to or mentioning laundry AT ALL. Our solution was to really play up our cast of pet characters in the masthead, tying it to the rest of the campaign by featuring our torture test lab in the background. For the presale page we created several banners, icons, and more to play into the PETS theme and entice users to shop the set. MAY IS MAYTAG® MONTH

May is Maytag® Month is Maytag’s largest event of the year. It’s the perfect time for consumers to save on dependable Maytag appliance upgrades that fit their life, style, and performance needs. Our team worked internally with Whirlpool Corp’s own WOW studios to perfectly marry their vision for P-O-P and the digital designs. Banners, icons, pages, content tiles, and more were created.
